Gravois Mills Area Guide
General Information/History
Platted in 1884, Gravois Mills started out with a population of 30, named after the Gravois Grist Mills built by Josiah Walton. Gravois Mills is in the Osage township and today has a bank and several small retail stores as well as rental units. Calm and peaceful, it sits close to Jacobs Cave, and is very close to Laurie and Versailles, nearby towns.
Quiet, Gravois Mills boasts Old St. Patrick’s Church on the National Register of Historic Places with the Troutdale ranch nearby.
Gravois Mills might be small, but it provides its residents with access to great activities, fun things to do and friendly residents who will love to welcome you to their little piece of heaven.
