Drury University

Founded in 1873 in an effort to reconcile all parts of the country and help heal the deep wounds inflicted by the Civil War, Drury University has held strong to its mission for over 130 years now. Lincoln University

Established in 1866, Lincoln University provides excellent learning opportunities to a primarily African American student body. With the aspiration of educating freed slaves, officers and enlisted men of the Civil War's 62nd and 65th Colored Infantries contributed to the funding and establishment of this historic learning institution.

Today, Lincoln enthusiastically invites all people interested in obtaining a higher education to benefit from their nurturing, student-centered environment. Missouri State University

Missouri State University (MSU), formerly Southwest Missouri State University, was established in 1905. Missouri University of Science and Technology, formerly University of Missouri – Rolla, was founded in 1870.
